This was an on location photo shoot I styled for awhile ago for Dreamlight Photography. It was a last minute styling assignment and I literally had a few hours to pull this look together. My model Tasha had to drive to my flat at midnight to ensure it fit her properly and that she knew how to wear it because I was unable to attend the shoot itself the following day due a prior commitment made. It was a good thing I had already worked with Tasha once before so I had a pretty good idea of what could work with her figure. However, in my opinion, since certain garments fall differently than others on one’s body, it is always best to have a fit session before hand. I was a bit nervous on how the look would turn out in the end without me being there to ensure things were in the right place, but I think it turned out quite alright. ^_^

Robert Gibson, a friend of mine who interned at the magazine I once worked for gave me one of his two passes to see a preview of Waikiki’s Victoria’s Secret before the public got to see it at the Grand Opening. The other went to Nadine Kam, a well known and respected fashion writer for the Staradvertiser. So yes, I felt special. I had already purchased this shirt from the Ala Moana store and thought why not? So off I went to view the huge tv that Robert could not stop talking about and caught up with another old co-worker of mine who now works for VS. I must say the store is visually appealing and there are a few products only available at the Waikiki location. What are they? Unfortunately, that’s a secret that requires your butts getting down there and seeking it for yourselves. If you want to learn about product details, Kathryn (photographed above) is the person to look for. She is the supervisor for the PINK section but she is quite knowledgeable about the other sections just as well. Oh and btw, Alessandra Ambrosio is the VS model making an appearance on October 11, 2011. Just in case you were all wondering. ^_*
